I photographed an event at Level 39, the “Technology Accelerator” on the 39th floor of One Canada Square in Canary Wharf.
In amongst photographing people workshopping how to accelerate technology (or cancer research in this instance), I caught a few bits and pieces of Docklands and the cityscape of East London.
Out over the Isle of Dogs, the Greenwich Peninsula and the estates of Poplar, or else west over the meanders of the River Thames to the skyline of the City of London.
Or down on the strange streetscapes of the Docklands redevelopment.
As the day developed and light shifted around the skyscrapers.
It even provided a nice prop for the event, when the top brains were asked to think big and note down their “flying pigs” ambitious ideas.
